Service detail

UAE bridge

A UAE-Africa advisory gateway for cross-border clients.

This service helps African and international clients find the right UAE, Africa-Middle East and cross-border professional advisory route without presenting PRINCEPS as a law firm.

What clients need

  • UAE market-entry orientation
  • Legal, tax and regulatory adviser routing
  • Corporate, immigration, IP, trade or dispute-support direction
  • A Dubai-facing desk for international credibility, subject to formal address confirmation

What PRINCEPS coordinates

  • Client brief and issue triage
  • Matter scoping before referral
  • Professional-adviser handoff notes
  • Follow-up coordination between client, adviser and project team

Safeguard

  • PRINCEPS does not provide regulated legal advice
  • Final legal/tax advice must come from licensed professionals
  • Dubai address wording remains confirmation-gated before formal use
  • Fees, government charges and third-party costs should be separated

Service detail

Investment facilitation

Uganda FDI entry planning and adviser coordination.

This service prepares foreign investors for Uganda entry by mapping the UIA-facing pathway, clarifying approvals and packaging a clean RFP for suitable professional advisers.

Investor pathway

  • URSB incorporation and company-secretarial work
  • TIN registration, tax structuring and investment incentives
  • UIA investment licence and sector-specific approvals
  • Land or lease due diligence, NEMA/ESIA and immigration/work permit needs

Adviser routing

  • MMAKS candidate route for general FDI, acquisitions or joint ventures
  • KATS candidate route for greenfield establishment with expatriate and approval needs
  • SM&Co candidate route for long-term setup, secretarial and compliance support
  • Specialist alternatives where project finance, infrastructure, tax or land complexity requires it

Safeguard

  • PRINCEPS is not a law firm or approval guarantor
  • Counsel selection remains subject to conflicts, scope, fees and client fit
  • UIA licence processing should be separated from legal and third-party costs
  • Formal investor advice should cite current UIA and adviser sources

Investment facilitation

Uganda FDI facilitation

PRINCEPS is not a law firm. For Uganda FDI matters, we help investors understand the UIA One Stop Centre pathway, prepare a clean adviser brief and coordinate with suitable licensed professional advisers.

UIA states that investment-licence processing is provided at no cost; professional proposals should separate government charges, third-party costs and legal fees.

Adviser-routing logic

  • General inbound FDI, acquisitions or joint ventures: MMAKS Advocates is a potential referral candidate, subject to conflict checks, client fit and counsel confirmation.
  • Greenfield establishment with expatriate staff and multiple approvals: KATS is a potential referral candidate, subject to conflict checks, client fit and counsel confirmation.
  • Long-term setup, company-secretarial and compliance support: SM&Co Advocates is a potential referral candidate, subject to conflict checks, client fit and counsel confirmation.

Investor RFP should price separately

  • URSB incorporation and company-secretarial work
  • TIN registration, tax structuring and investment incentives
  • UIA investment licence and sector-specific approvals
  • Land or lease due diligence and NEMA/ESIA requirements
  • Work permits, employment, NSSF and continuing compliance

Focus areas

Visual priorities for innovation, funding and execution.

These focus areas connect PRINCEPS service lines to practical project design: cities, circular supply chains, pilots and EU-facing consortium development.

Insights

Make the first intake useful.

The best first conversation turns ambition into a clear next decision, with enough evidence to route the work properly.

How it works

Diagnose, structure, coordinate.

Diagnose

Clarify the client profile, country route, deadline, approvals, risk and decision needed.

Structure

Build the proposal, legal/advisory pathway or Uganda investor-entry roadmap with the right partners.

Coordinate

Prepare documents, route requests, manage evidence and keep the client moving toward a clear decision.

Reach

Uganda base. Dubai bridge.

PRINCEPS operates from Kampala and is building a UAE-facing advisory pathway to support clients needing Africa-Middle East and international legal, tax or professional-advisory access.

Dubai collaboration deskAspin Commercial Tower, 104 Sheikh Zayed Road, 31st Floor, Office 3107, Trade Center 1, Dubai, United Arab EmiratesTo be confirmed in writing before publication or use as a registered, correspondence, representative or collaboration desk address.

Safeguard

Evidence-led positioning.

PRINCEPS should not present itself as a law firm. Legal, tax and regulated advisory work should be routed to appropriate licensed advisers, with fees and government charges separated before engagement.

Contact and intake

Choose the service line and the decision needed.

A useful first intake should identify whether this is a Horizon, UAE bridge or Uganda investment facilitation matter, then define the deadline, evidence gap and next decision.
